Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"the mi tarik tastes good! the broth is clear and refreshing. for me, it will taste better if it doesnt have that meat taste, yknow? the chicken dumpling is nice too. chili oil also good! i would say the price is very affordable with that large portion."
"Good honest authentic Chinese food in an open air shop. Their halal mee tarik tasted authentic by China chef, in fact you can see the noodles being pulled as you enter the shop. I was told this restaurant has been established for around a decade in this Melawati area. There were so many people in the restaurant that waiting time to clear the table and to get our order took a while. However, it was worth the wait. Can come again at less busy time."
"Mostly cheap - the main good point. Tastewise : Good, authentic for me, many choices. Had fried rice, fried noodles with black fungus, lamb skewers, soup was delicious and tofu.. all were good Parking : Easy (avoid peak hours) Service : Not too long, bearable Atmosphere : Not too fancy, typical warung-kinda restaurant Order : through QR scan (plus point for introvert)"
"Our Go-To Mee Tarik Spot This is hands down our favorite and the best mee tarik place! The portions are huge, and the food never disappoints. We usually go for the braised beef noodles, paired with fried bean sprouts and their lamb skewers (satay kambing) — super flavorful and satisfying. Service is always good, prices are reasonable, and best of all, it’s halal! Definitely a must-try if you’re craving authentic hand-pulled noodles."
"This is a very popular place as evidenced by a near full house at dinnertime. We had to wait for a table to be free and then another wait for the dirty dishes to be cleared away. The food also took another half hour to come. It's no different than other Chinese Muslim noodle places I've tried. The premises is hot and stuffy, and service non-existent. Staff will just plonk a bowl on the table and it's up to the customer to figure out which dish it was. Not impressed."
"Located at Taman Melawat. Ample parking, but might be full during business hour. Order via app. Ordered beef noodles extra, can eat 2 person. The noodles very fresh as it handmade. The broth very good. Fried dumplings also very tasty and fresh. Affordable price. Fast service. Recommended"
"My hubby's favourite Mee Tarik place. Food tastes great. A busy place with limited space, feels cramped. Waiters, servers, cleaners work hard."
"went here for lunch and really enjoyed it. the food was authentic and delicious with big portions, and the price was very affordable. service was quick and friendly. the place is comfortable, though it could use more fans or air conditioning. overall, a great spot for tasty ramen at a good value."
